Instructor, Kristi Wiant teaches flute & piano at GNS. Mrs. Wiant grew up in Seattle in a musical family. She began studying piano in the second grade, continuing through 8 quarters at the University of Washington, graduating with a BA in Music in 2006. At the UW, she studied flute with Felix Skowronik, and is continuing post-graduate flute studies with Klaus Liebetanz. Kristi works as a free-lance vocal accompanist and began teaching privately about 15 years ago. She is a member of the Seattle Flute Society and serves as a church pianist. In addition, Kristi Wiant serves as president of the GNS Board of Directors.
