Pee Wee Picasso Age 4 - 5, 1:30 - 2:15, Tuesdays
Fun activities providing a foundation for artistic development in preschool children. Includes color, shape, collage, working with the tools of real artists, and other elements of art introduced through multiple media projects that children will enjoy making and taking home after each class. Basic principles and vocabulary will be incorporated in an age-appropriate manner.
Introduction to Drawing Age 7 - 10, 5:30 - 6:30 pm, Tuesdays
For children who love to draw! An opportunity to sharpen observation skills; to become familiar with line, form, and composition. Drawing in various media including pencil, pen and ink, and colored pencil. Students will choose their own subject for a still life drawing.
Art Basics, Level 1 Age 6 - 8, 4-5 pm, Tuesdays
Explore treasures in nature, learn color mixing, basics of drawing, shape, line and composition. Using a variety of media, children will also learn selection and care of materials, tools and vocabulary of professional artists. Class lays the beginning of a foundation upon which students can build a life-long interest and understanding of art.

Art Basics is a spiral curriculum. Each level repeats a sequence of projects that allow for internalization and mastery of basic concepts, increasing in complexity and sophistication as the student matures.
Meet the Masters. Age 9 - 12 , 4:15 - 5:15 PM, Wednesdays
This unique series is a combination of art exploration within art history. Each week, students will learn about a famous artist and then create their own masterpiece based on that master's style, color choices and techniques. Only age appropriate material will be shared. Students will be introduced to a variety of mediums including pastel pencils, acrylic, colored pencils, and pen and ink.
Media Magic. Age 9-12, 5:15 - 6:15 PM, Thursdays
Explore the tools and techniques for working with various art media through hands on experience with pastel, collage, wire sculpture and more. Students will be encouraged to look for "found materials" outside of class and to share their creative ideas.
