Guitar & Ukulele
Meet Rowan Skye, our new Guitar, Ukulele teacher
Rowan Skye Nason Ashe is a graduating senior at Kamiak High School with plans to attend the University of Washington this fall. He is a member of the National Honor Society and the Tri-M Music Honor Society. He has been playing music since the age of three, and began composing music on his cello when he was eleven. A member of the Cascade Youth Symphony, he has traveled in Europe with the orchestra twice, playing at various venues in multiple countries. Beside the cello, Rowan plays a variety of instruments, including guitar, drums, and piano, among others, and is a vocalist. He recorded and released an album of original songs in January 2017, and is currently working on his second recording. Rowan enjoys sharing his love of music with others, and has been teaching private cello lessons for elementary school students since late 2015. He has also taught guitar, ukulele, and cello to children ages 8-15 in group format. In his free time, when not creating music, he enjoys drawing, photography, and video production and editing.
We are currently working on finalizing Rowan's teaching schedule for this summer. Please check back soon.
